Heavyweight Fishing

Trait reroll priority in Heavyweight Fishing

What this gets you: Spend Trait Crystals on the right Skills first, keep useful mid-tier Traits, and stop burning rolls chasing 0.1% gods on a throwaway skill.

Run order

  1. Put your best Skill on the bar and find Nanjiang on any island
  2. Keep rolling until you hit a keep Trait for that Skill’s job
  3. Park common Traits on secondary Skills only
  4. Stop when you land Executioner, Chrono, Assassin, or any 0.1% god

How Traits work (one line each)

  • One Trait per Skill. Reroll replaces it.
  • Talk to Nanjiang on an island, spend a Trait Crystal / Trait Reroll, get a random Trait.
  • Build around the Skill’s job before you spend rare rolls.

Keep / soft-keep / reroll

Use this when you are staring at a fresh roll.

Always keep (stop spending on this Skill)

Trait Listed chance Why you stop
Azure Dragon 0.1% Highest listed damage (+150%) + CD; low-HP extras
Black Tortoise 0.1% Survive tools (heal, stun, low-HP invuln) + damage
White Tiger 0.1% Crit ceiling; stack crit on cast
Vermillion Bird 0.1% Huge CD + once-per-battle reset
Executioner 2% Best generalist below gods (+25% dmg, +10% CD)
Chrono 2% Best CD generalist (+20% CD, +10% dmg)
Assassin 2% Best crit package below White Tiger

Soft-keep (fine on main Skill until a “always keep” lands)

Trait Listed chance Keep when…
Berserk 15% You want raw damage and do not have Executioner yet
Rapid 15% Your Skill wants uptime more than raw damage
Precision 15% You already lean crit and Assassin has not appeared

Reroll off your main Skill

Trait Listed chance Note
Powerful 30% Tiny damage; park on a bench Skill if anything
Swift 30% Tiny CD; same
Sharp 30% Tiny crit; same

Decision: never dump a full bag of crystals chasing Azure Dragon on a Skill you are about to replace.

Spend order (what to roll first)

  1. Main combat Skill — the one you press every fight. This gets every “always keep” and soft-keep.
  2. Secondary Skill — only after the main Skill has at least Berserk / Rapid / Precision or better.
  3. Bench / unused Skills — do not touch. Common Traits are fine forever there.

Decision: if you only have a handful of crystals, roll one Skill to soft-keep or better. Spreading one common Trait across five Skills wastes the pity of luck.

Match Trait to Skill job

You do not need the god roll for every bar slot.

If the Skill’s job is… Chase / soft-keep Skip for now
Burst damage Berserk → Executioner → Azure Dragon Pure CD commons
Cast as often as possible Rapid → Chrono → Vermillion Bird Sharp / Precision
Crit / crit damage Precision → Assassin → White Tiger Powerful alone
Survive / clutch Black Tortoise (if it ever drops) Glass-cannon only Traits

Decision: Assassin on a CD-bot Skill is usually worse than Rapid. Reroll for the job, not the rarity label.

Stop rules (so you do not tilt)

  • Soft stop: main Skill has Berserk, Rapid, or Precision. Play content; bank more crystals from codes / play.
  • Hard stop: main Skill has Executioner, Chrono, or Assassin. Move leftover crystals to the secondary Skill.
  • Jackpot stop: any 0.1% god. Lock it. Do not “just one more” for a different god on the same Skill unless you have crystals to burn.

Listed mid-tier rates are 15%; 2% row is rare; 0.1% gods are lottery tickets. Plan around soft stops, not gods.
