Skills vs rods (read once)

Skills are not rods. Heavenpiercer, Pure Diamond, and Sacred Bamboo belong on therods tier list and the secret / craft rods hub. This page ranks combat skills from the live roster only — S–C letters areCONTESTED community estimates until Discord / in-client consensus.

Orb families that modify skills: /guides/orbs. Divine Cloud skill lane: /guides/divine-cloud-skills. Rotating Taoist merchant (Apex Eagle Hunt card): /guides/dumb-guy-npc.

Ranking methodology

Prefer live /skills English names. Set S–C from multi-source effect roles (boss immunity, Rod Power buffs, stun length) plus overlap with community lists where names match (for example One-Strike Heaven Gate). Do not treat letters as verified esports ranks — confirm in-client. Names found only on other lists such as Phoenix Strike Art andInfinite Sky Ascension are CONTESTED and not listed as live entities above.

We do not invent DPS percentages, drop rates, or Working codes on this page. When an Orb column stays “—”, that skill has no confirmed family orb mapping yet (Cloud Ascension Orb is not mapped onto this roster yet).

FAQ

Is this the same as the rods tier list?
No. /tier-list ranks rods (Heavenpiercer, Pure Diamond, Sacred Bamboo…). This page ranks skills only. Use /skills for the live roster cards and /guides/secret-rods for craft / quest rods.
Why are bands marked CONTESTED?
Other skill tier lists use alternate English names and disagree with each other. We set S–C from live /skills effect roles plus multi-source overlap (e.g. One-Strike Heaven Gate) — confirm in-client and Discord before treating letters as gospel.
Where are Phoenix Strike Art and Infinite Sky Ascension?
Those names appear on some third-party skill TLs but are not on our live /skills roster. Treat them as CONTESTED translations / alternate lists — not confirmed live entities here.
How do I unlock skills?
Most skills summon on Taiji or Egoless banners with Tickets or Crystals. One-Strike Heaven Gate also has a Sage Yiju Learn Skill (cash) path. Trait embed at Nanjiang — see each skill card. Orb context: /guides/orbs.
Where do orbs and Divine Cloud fit?
Orb families that modify skills are summarized on /guides/orbs. The Divine Cloud skill lane how-to lives on /guides/divine-cloud-skills. Neither page invents DPS% — confirm panels in-client.
